Where Toggl Track is strong
- Apps and tracking options. Polished desktop, mobile and browser apps, plus automatic tracking and timeline features.
- A free plan for tiny teams (up to 3 users), though billable rates start on Starter.
- Integrations with tools like Jira and Asana on Premium.
If your team mainly needs a great timer and you don't rely on years of Harvest history, Toggl is a solid choice.
Where moving to Toggl gets harder
- Only 12 months of history come across. Older time entries, invoices, expenses, notes and archived projects stay behind, so you keep Harvest (or a CSV backup) for anything older.
- Agency features sit on Premium. Fixed-fee projects, approvals and project-member rates need the $16–$24 plan.
- Integrations need rewriting. Reports or scripts built on the Harvest API have to move to Toggl's API.
Why Harvest teams pick Feestead instead
1. Your whole history, not the last year
Paste one Harvest token. People, clients, projects (including archived), task and person rates, and every time entry come over with notes, billable flags and invoiced status.
2. Proof before you cancel
Every project shows Harvest's hours, entry count and billable amount next to ours, with a green tick when they match. It's the report you show your partners or accountant before cancelling Harvest.
3. Same workflow, same price, no meter
The timer and weekly timesheet your team already knows, rates by project, task or person, budgets with alerts, and invoice lines for QuickBooks or Xero. $9 per person per month billed yearly or $11 monthly, no usage fees, price locked for 24 months.
4. Your Harvest scripts keep running
Feestead speaks the Harvest v2 API for time data, so most scripts only need a new URL and token. See the details.
Not included in Feestead: invoices with online payments, expenses, estimates and resource planning.
Move from Harvest without losing a minute
Paste a Harvest token, import everything, and check every project against Harvest's numbers before you cancel. 7 days free, then $9 per person/month billed yearly ($108/person/year), or $11 monthly, with no usage fees.
